New Year, New Look!

After much umming and ahing, we've decided to have a bit of a revamp at 2 Crafty Birds.  It's all coming together quite nicely, we're just waiting on our new logo so we can start ringing the changes.  We've also decided to start our own website so we can be Mistresses of Our Own Destiny (could be a mini-series in that title lol).  So the new site is www.2craftybirds.com and very nice it's looking too :-)

One thing we've discovered about being self-employed crafty folks is that it's far too easy to concentrate on the fun side of things i.e. making stuff and far too easy to let the boring stuff slide i.e. promoting and book-keeping and there's a tendency to become a little bit complacent.  So we've given ourselves a hefty kick up the backside and gone back to basics, brainstormed some new product and promotional ideas and will hopefully be sourcing some new suppliers as well.  It's all going on!

So keep your eyes peeled for some new and exciting changes and two very excited birdies :-)

Going round in circles......

Well today I've been so far trying to find my way around Google+, I managed to create a personal account, then discovered I couldn't use it for business, so now I've created a business page, BUT I have to wait for people to follow me before I can add them to a circle.  I'm feeling very dizzy already!

I think I might just give in and get back to my bead work!  Not sure how this blog will work out, but I guess it's going to be a mixture of crafty stuff and the joys of living with teenage twin boys and adolescent springer spaniels!
